In 2017 a couple of guys from BME (Budapest University of Technology and Economics) teamed up to organize a whole new competition. Since in the preceding years they had a hard time finding a truly challenging competition, they decided to put some of their most ambitious ideas together and bring to life a new kind of event.
The first steps were slow and hard, but they figured out early that experts from other fields (marketing, law, design etc.) would be essential to create a quality event.
ChaosStack was born in October of 2017 and it was unexpectedly successful. The team got several promising and positive feedbacks and many sponsors asked “when will the next one be?”. Which started as a one time event, shortly became something more…
After that, the tech guys founded an organization to make more events and that is now known as TechEmbassy. The goal is to create unique opportunities for young IT professionals to help them reach their competitive edge, learn and improve throughout their career paths.
What’s next? Gain more experience and start the international ChaosStack in 2019…
It was a great opportunity and it showed us that we can count on the knowledge of Hungarian programmers in the future.
